- CHARITY METHODS: Giving away donated water purifiers to schools with difficult circumstances

II. Project overview:
- PROJECT ABOUT:
- Hydration to others is a project for the community conceived and designed by the class 11G3 of Garden Hill campus. The project includes VAS TALKS activities – a model of inspiration and fundraising through sales along with donations from benefactors and donors. We will use that fund to buy water purifiers to sponsor disadvantaged primary schools, letting them to have clean water to drink.
- REASON FOR THE PROJECT:
- We have an ardent desire to provide clean water to students in disadvantaged areas. Hydration to Others understand the importance of water for life as well as the dangers of continuously using unsanitary water for a long time, which will affect health. Therefore, we realize that providing clean water for Vietnamese people along with the large community is a necessary and is an important activity, especially in remote areas where the government has little attention; because for the project team, everyone in the world has the right to enjoy clean water.
- PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
- To provide water purifiers to at least 6 schools in the survey list set out in Tra Vinh
- SUBJECTS PROJECT TARGET:
- The struggling primary schools in Tra Vinh, along with all the students at VAS, to give them the opportunity to understand more about the importance of water as well as dangerously contaminated water then join hands to raise money for this project of providing water purifiers.
- HOW TO RAISE FUND:
- Open concerts, spring flower festivals, sell food during breaks, donations from everyone
- PROJECT LOCATION:
- Primary schools in Tieu Can, Phu Can, Cau Ngang, Cau Ke districts in Tra Vinh
- SUSTAINABLE PROJECT:
- Expand members for the project both inside and outside VAS, pass on unfinished business if there is no opportunity. The association gave water purifiers to all the schools on the difficult survey list, so that the younger generation could continue to help the children.
III. Detailed implementation plan:
Project promotion and replication phase (November 5, 2022 – June 30, 2023):
- Planning & assigning members
- Propagating talkshows, posters and Facebook group posts to all class in GH
- Link to self-concept content pages to spread
Talkshow period (12/2022):
- Participants: Students of all levels of VAS GH
- Talkshow content: Discussing the current status today’s clean water
- Experts’ sharing on charity experiences…
- Answers to questions and questions from students participating in the program.
- Expert invited to the program: Mr. Huynh Huu Phuc at the grassroots level (Garden Hills) , Mr. Ly Thuy (HVT campus)
- From there, it attracted the interest and support of students and teachers to donate to the project, affirming that you all have the opportunity to inherit the project if there are contributions. certain contributions, and the benefits of participating in applying to become a member of a community project.
Stage raising funding (February 2023):
- Doing concerts and selling food to raise funds.
